Group Seeks Down To Earth Support

Kelowna woman eyes venue for help with UFO encounters.

A Kelowna woman is reviving a support group for people with UFO experiences, despite all her own bad experiences surrounding the subject in the past.

She is willing to face up to some possible ridicule to try to provide a venue for people to talk about their experiences among a group of people who will not judge them harshly for their beliefs.

She also hopes to attract a counsellor and a hypnotherapist to help provide some answers for those troubled with experiences like abductions.

“It is not for looky-loos and people who are interested in the subject, it is for people who feel they have been abducted or had UFO sightings and weird things have been happening to them for a long time,” said Cynthia. (not her real name)

She wants to keep her anonymity to avoid the problem caused when a mentally disturbed man joined the last group she coordinated about five years ago. The man stalked her home and forced an abrupt move away from her children and from the club’s meeting place.

Prior to that dissolution, she said the group provided some much needed relief for a group of about 20 members who met regularly for about a year.

“We are normal, regular, average everyday people that are sane. We had all kinds of people – registered nurses, carpenters, homemakers, a councilor, hypnotherapists,” she said.

This time, she plans to meet in a neutral location like a library, where personal danger could be minimized.

Yet this would still allow the potential to discuss unfathomable experiences similar to her own.

“This is happening to everyday people and happening in our own backyard right here in Kelowna,” she said. “In the last three or four months the sightings have been unbelievable in this region.

“UFO*BC in Vancouver and Brian Vike in HBCC UFO Research in Houston, B.C., have had more than150 phone calls of sightings and things that are going on in this area.” An experience she had on July 31 of this year scared her enough to take the bold step to revive a support group.

“It was petty heavy duty stuff,” she said, unwilling to give details of the event over the phone, however, she said it did coincide with six eyewitness reports that night.

“After July 31 I said, That’s it, I have got to make my fear and anger work for me and not let it paralyze me,” she said.

“I have had things happening to me since I was four or five years old and now it is with my children,” she added, describing a triangular shape that showed up on her son’s back one morning with what appeared to be radiation burns.

Outside his bedroom window, one tree had suddenly shown burning signs around it’s leaves.

“There is no help here in Canada like there is in the United States.

“They have all these councilors, psychiatrists, lab technicians that will do these tests that will help these people,” she said.

Here you are supposed to live with all this stuff, all by yourself, all alone and wondering if you are going crazy.

“Their emotions are in chaos. They wake up with marks on their bodies and bleeding noses and they are angry and they don’t know why,” she said.

While taking out problems with other like minded people can provide some relief, it doesn’t address the issues as deeply as many would like.

So the group is looking for a professional with experience in hypnotherapy and counseling to help out.

“It is like someone who had a severe trauma, and they block it out because they can handle it. Like sexual abuse or whatever, it is the same thing for abductees,” she said.

“We need someone with an open mind who is really truly going to help them with these experiences.”

Group Of White Lights Return Over Montreal Quebec

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  October 14, 2011

Time:  Approxamtlty 10:30 p.m.,

We saw the same group of white lights as you described yesterday over Montreal, Quebec tonight around 10:30p.m. It started as a few, more came into sight and a few were moving really quickly up and down and diagonally.

There were no flashing lights, just solid white lights moving around. After 10 minutes or so, they started to fade into the distance. We have no idea what they were, but we made a small video (very grainy) that show a few movements. Very cool.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Group Of Orange Red Lights Over Nanaimo British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  November 28, 2011

Time:  7:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1

Number of Objects: 3

Shape of Objects: Spherical.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My sighting began just after picking up a new printer at the local Staples in Nanaimo. I had just begun to pull out of the parking lot when I noticed due south, just behind and above the Home Depot, a group of red/orange lights.

It was odd enough for me to pull over and attempt to catch the sighting on my phone.

I stepped out of the van and as I filmed I witnessed 3, bright orange red spheres at roughly a forearms distance apart, slowly ascend from roughly the horizon and into the cloud bank.

They moved at the same rate of speed at a 80 degree angle upwards. A strong easterly wind was blowing but the lights moved very slowly westerly.

The color was the most striking part. It was an even light (no flickering) and it had a very warm reddish/orange glow which frankly looked out of place in the night sky. At one time it appeared that each individual light may have been comprised of 3 interconnected spheres.

I would very much like to know if anything was happening in that area (anything involving Chinese lanterns?). It was definitely not standard air traffic and no landing or identifier lights were visible.

The objects themselves seemed substantial enough that they may have posed a flight risk to local air traffic in that area.

Someone else must have seen this. It was happening during a busy seasonal shopping time.

Thanks for listening!

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Group Of 3 Reddish Orange Lights Over Airdrie Alberta

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  October 31, 2011

Time:  11:45 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1

Number of Objects: 3

Shape of Objects: Triangular.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I was out in the backyard having a smoke and admiring the night sky as usual. I saw a group of 3 reddish-orange lights in a triangular formation cross the sky overhead of me from north to south (heading over Calgary).

The height of the object was between 1,500 and 2,000 feet. It moved incredibly fast and made no noise whatsoever. The formation of the lights remained intact -- that is, they did not move out of place.

One thing that I found especially peculiar is that the lights appeared almost semi-transparent and I could not detect an outline of a craft, only the formation of the three lights.

The length of the sighting was at least 10-15 seconds long. I saw a similar object jet across the sky in August of 2011. If anyone has seen anything remotely similar I would love to hear about it.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Large Group Of Orange Lights In The Sky Over Malden Park Windsor Ontario

Date:  July 19, 2014
Time:  Approx: 9:00 p.m.

I also saw those lights on July 19, 2014 around 9:00 p.m. above Malden park area. A large group of orange lights seemed suspended in the air.

The OPP (Ontario Provincial Police) arrived at the Stag and Doe due to calls from locals who believed the wedding party had lit lanterns at the park although we hadn't.

Many people that night also saw the lights. Very bizarre indeed!

Vike Factor Note – If you happened to see the orange lights in the sky that night, please file your report, plus send any pictures you might have taken to sighting@telus.net or to b_vike@telus.net
Thank you very much.
