Object Fades Then Brightens Over Northwich UK

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  June 18, 2011

Time:  After midnight.

Hi, I was in my back garden in Northwich just after midnight. I had my binoculars with me as I like to star gaze as and when we get any clear skies. I wasn't looking for anything in particular. I was looking in a southerly direction and noticed an object tracking across the sky.

It started off as a faint glow, then became very bright. After around ten seconds it started to fade out, but moving incredibly fast. I can most certainly say it was not a Chinese lantern, as I've witnessed so many of these in the sky in the past. This object was moving with a purpose.

It was far too high to be any form of commercial airliner. There were no flashing lights as you would expect to see from a plane. The only way I can described it's brightness is, to compare it with that of the ISS when that passes over and then moves into the earths shadow.

Not odd?, well this is the odd bit. The object was tracking on a south to north heading. It should have stayed illuminated as it would have been in constant sun light. I should have been able to see it track the sky all the way to my visible horizon, yet it did not do that. Besides, if it had been a Chinese lantern, then who in there right mind releases one at that time of the morning? It was far too bright for one of them.

At around 12:20, the ISS did actually track over on it's usual path of west to east. I watched it as I always have until it faded out over Europe.

It is not the first time I have seen something in the sky and been amazed. Last year, I witness in broad daylight a shiny silver sphere. It's altitude was very high. The reason it caught my eye was that it glimmered in the sunlight. I observed this for around 30 seconds until it suddenly shot off at very high speed.

My first encounter was back in 1997 when I was stationary at the traffic lights at Sandiway in Northwich. In the distance, I saw what I can only describe as a teardrop shaped craft with what appeared to be two triangular sections at the front. It banked to the left and headed in the general direction of Alton Park.

I reported it to the UFO society and it did actually make the Northwich Guardian.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Bright Light Completely Fades Away Surrey British Columbia

Date:  September 10, 2017
Time:  Approx: 5:10 a.m.

Hello I read about your experience and was very intrigued. I myself had a sighting on Monday, September 10, 2017 around 10 after 5:00 a.m. I decided to open the front door and see what kind of a morning it was and immediately saw a very bright light above the house in the backyard.

It was so bright it was quite obvious that it was not a star. It seem to get long and then short very, very bright and then completely fades away, although it did last for almost a full hour before completely disappearing and by this time it was almost completely light out.

Unfortunately my phone was dead and I wasn't able to get the first pictures of you and it was very dark, but I managed to get a couple of pictures and if you magnify the pictures it looks like a metal object for sure in one picture and then another picture it looks like for lights like the bottom of a spacecraft.

Please let me know what you think, Thanks.

Large Bright Object Fades To Red In The Sky Outside Of Ottawa Ontario

Date:  April 10, 2012
Time:  9:24 p.m.

Hi, I have been searching for someone who saw this for the last couple of months with no luck until now. I live outside of Ottawa Ontario and I saw something in the sky on the evening of April 10th and I checked my watch at 9:24 p.m. est which would align with the time of your sighting.

I was outside and noticed something moving across the sky in an abnormal direction. I noticed it from quite far away as I am lucky enough to be in the country and have a great view of the sky.

The object was very, very bright and large. It appeared to come right towards me and I can not say enough about the large size and brightness, it was also moving very slow and appeared to be and at a Very low height.

The object than moved by and appeared to fade to red quite quickly, but it was moving in the direction that would align with this other sighting.

I checked the news and searched sites regularly after the sighting but never was able to find anything. Any idea what this was I still can not to forget the experience. Thanks.

Bright Object Fades Away And Disappears Over Peterborough Ontario

Date:  Summer 2010
Time:  Evening.

I seen a UFO in Peterborough in the Summer of 2010 on my brothers balcony at city center. I looked up in the north sky at this star on a clear night.

It was really bright when the light faded, it was gone. There were no clouds or anything, it was just gone and all the stars around the light I was focusing on, were still clearly visible.

It was like the UFO took off into space, not to the left or to the right, but straight away from my eye or it just faded out. I saw it for 15-30 seconds before it disappeared.

I didn’t show my brother, because I thought it was just a star.
