Bright White Light Over South Coast Lancing UK

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  August 14, 2011

Time:  10:13 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 1

Number of Objects: 1

Shape of Objects: Bright white light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: Travelling west to east and I guess 15 to 20k" 500mph no noise and above cloud level, turned orange/reddish just before being obscured by cloud.

I suppose a more rear view by this time and I would expect a normal aircraft lamp to have gone from view way before this point. Commercial jets with faint noise travelling from north to south towards France clearly displaying anti collision lights just after sighting.

Thank you to the witness for the report.

Fireball/Meteor Object Flew Along The Coast At Grand Bend Ontario

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  August 29, 2010

Time:  Approxamtlty 8:40 p.m.

Hi, this is my first time reporting, but I seen a fireball object, fly along the coast of the beach in Grand Bend. This was seen by me and a few friends on August 29, 2010 at around 8:40 p.m. at night.

The object seemed to change direction after coming straight on to the beach, and then turned and went parallel with the beach front. Hope this helps, P.S.

Let me know if anyone else seen that.

Thank you to the person for their report.

Silent UFO Hovers With Blinding Light Over Coast Guard Vessel In Mobile Bay Alabama

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  1959 or 1960

Time:  Evening (?)

I want to pass this story along to you that my sister told me. Her best guess on the year was 1959 or 1960. My father was chief engineer at WALA TV in Mobile, Alabama for 16 years.

Every day he would take lunch at a location next to the TV station known as the Princess House. One day while having lunch one of his friends from the Coast Guard told of a sighting that they had the night before.

It seems they were out in Mobile Bay doing their usual duties when a craft appeared above the boat with blinding light and hovered for some time. After which the craft shot off. He stated that it scared the crap out of them. He also stated that the craft made no noise at all.

This is all my sister remembers of the story. Maybe someone out there knows more.

Thank you to the gentleman for relating this sighting to me.

Light Comes To A Stop And Splits Into 4 Sakinaw Lake Sunshine Coast British Columbia

Brian Vike's Favorite Cases.

Date:  August 7, 2003.

Time:  Approximately 10:15 p.m.

Dear Brian Vike, I too saw something strange in the sky, however this was the night of August 7th, 2003.

Here's my story:  My husband and I have a summer home at Sakinaw Lake which is on the Sunshine Coast in BC. One of my favorite things to do at night is to star gaze from the middle of the lake. The sky is so clear there compared to the city.

Anyways, on August 7th, I took my star gazing gear (blanket, pillow and flashlight) with me on my peddle boat and like usual snuggled down once I got to the middle of the lake. I usually stay out for a couple of hours and watch the shooting stars before peddling back to our home.

On this night approximately 10:15 p.m. or so, I spotted what I thought was another shooting star. It streaked across the sky heading southward then stopped. I thought the shooting star might burn out, but it didn't. Instead, the light split into 4 lights which formed a square (1 light in each corner).

One of the lights was brighter than the other 3, made me think it might be bigger than the others. It stayed in the square formation for 2 to 5 seconds before it changed forms again. Two lights stayed in place while the other 2 lights moved slightly away, then stopped.

The 4 lights together looked like a rectangle and stayed this way for 1 to 2 seconds. Then all of a sudden the 2 lights that moved to form the rectangle shot off northward, like parallel shooting stars, while the other 2 lights only separated slightly and remained stationary. One of the 2 lights that remained was the bright one.

I was shocked and couldn't believe what I saw.

I stayed there until 1:30 a.m. to see if the other 2 would come back. Then I tried to memorize the location of the 2 remaining lights before heading in, but they looked like stars amongst so many other stars. It was useless, so I peddled back home.

I told my husband and he suggested I look up UFO sightings on the internet. There are so many skeptics and believe me I would have been one too, that I said I don't think I'll bother.

My husband printed a copy of your article for me to read and that's how I read about the other sighting on July 28th, 2003 and also why I'm emailing you.

If you know or hear of any one else that saw what I did that night, please let me know. I would appreciate any information you can provide.

Thank you!

Yours truly.

Thank you to the eyewitness for their report.

Huge Bright Orange UFO/Object Over Sechelt Lower Sunshine Coast of British Columbia

Date:  February 24, 2015
Time:  7:00 p.m.

Hi Mr. Vike, I was outside with my dogs at 7:00 p.m. tonight and there was a huge, very bright orange light hovering over the Sechelt area.

I have no idea what it was, but it hovered there for about 5 minutes before it disappeared behind the mountains.

There was no tail, it was not a fireball streaking across the sky. I have been Googling to see if there are any other reports from someone else, but I haven't seen anything yet.

Maybe alien, maybe human. Just thought you may want to know.

Thanks.

Thank you to the witness for their report.

Unknown Bright Object Appears In An Overcast Sky Over Powell River Northern Sunshine Coast British Columbia

Date:  January 16, 2013
Time:  Approx: 8:30 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Orb/star-like.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: I live in the top floor of a 3-story apartment, with a mountain view to the north. My couch faces the glass door/big windows so my husband and I often sit and admire the view.

Tonight (around 8:30) I was sitting on my couch while on the phone with my mother, my husband was in the other room when suddenly what looked like a star appeared in the sky just above the tree-line (the sky was completely overcast so I knew it wasn't actually a star).

I said aloud to my mother, "What is that?", and as I was frantically calling my husband to come look, this thing had brightened (to about the size/brightness of the street light 2 blocks away), dimmed back into a "star", brightened again, dimmed and then vanished (though never actually moved, it was completely stationary and looked as though the light had just been turned off).

My husband had just missed it! I was trying to describe the object to my husband and mother, my husband looking towards the area that I had seen it and then suddenly, in the same spot as before, the object flashed really bright for a second and disappeared for the final time, almost as if it were meant for my husband to see it.

This is our second UFO sighting together in Powell River in the last 3 years.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Two UFOs Mimicking One Another In The Sky Over Powell River Northern Sunshine Coast British Columbia

Date:  Summer 2010
Time:  Between 10:00 p.m. – 11:00 p.m.

Number of witnesses: 2
Number of Objects: 2
Shape of Objects: Orb.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: My husband and I are very avid sky watchers and in the Summer of 2010 we were laying in the back yard watching stars almost every night. We always keep a tally of satellites and meteorites for fun.

This particular night I noticed 2 lights flying side-by-side from West to East. My initial thought was, "How odd, 2 satellites flying perfectly together!" then, "Huh, those are some low-flying satellites." Intrigued, I nudged my husband and pointed in the direction of the objects.

His mouth gaped as if to say "Those aren't satellites", he silently pointed at the objects. As we both lay there, pointing at these things (and trying to come up with a rational explanation, anything at all) they started to move in a bizarre manner.

They would split apart quickly on a 45 degree angle, perfectly mirroring each other, and then come back together on a 45 degree angle, then apart, then together, apart, together and they did this until they were no longer in sight.

My husband and I had the exact same feeling come over us, that "they" saw us looking at them, and the way they moved just as we were both watching/pointing was like acknowledgement. We both still remember in vivid detail and talk about it with each other all of the time. It was life changing!

Red Neon Luminous Light/UFO Observed Off The Coast Of Newfoundland Canada

Date: 1975
Time: 2:00 a.m.

Number of witnesses: 1
Number of Objects: 1
Shape of Objects: Red neon (luminous) light.

Full Description of Event/Sighting: One summer night I slept in my old Canadian Rambler, at around 2:00am I awoke, sat up, and thought of going back in the house which I did. But, before that I noticed something spectacular. There was this red neon light that was drawing zigzagging lights in the dark sky beyond the horizon.

The red neon light moved slowly drawing a straight line then zig-zags down and went back and drew another straight line. The red luminous light did the same pattern just a few more times then disappeared.

The area where this occurred to my recollection is at the Gulf of St. Lawrence. I lived west of Newfoundland then, and to my left is the province Quebec in which the gulf separates us and so on. This red luminous light did not move fast, but I think it can.

I woke up that morning and told my mom what I saw that night and all she said was really! That is what I saw mom.
