20 Or More Lights Flew Over Calgary Alberta

Date:  August 18, 2012
Time:  Evening.

Hello, we were outside of our garage and we saw about 20 or more lights coming south of the city going west, that was August 18, 2012.

It was amazing they seem to be traveling in a line and separated almost at the same distance from each other, no noise and all going in the same direction.

I would also want to know if anybody else saw them, that was beautiful and strange. I recorded in my camera, but it didn't turn out good at all.

This was in Calgary, AB Canada. Thanks, let me know if you find any thing about that.

If you have seen anything like this in the same area please be kind enough to contact Brian Vike at: sighting@telus.net with the details of your sighting. All personal information is kept confidential.

Also, please feel free to send in your sightings that have happened years ago. So many of these older sightings are nothing short of amazing.

  1. What time was this and what area/neighbourhood were you in when you saw this? The night before I was sitting in my backyard and saw 2 lights travelling together and thought it odd because they were brighter than stars and satellites and flying very closely... I live in the deep southwest and they were flying from the southwest to the east. This was around 10:00 PM or slightly later.

  2. Dear Sir,

On Friday, March 22nd at around 9.20 pm, my wife and I were driving home to Coventry Hills north on Hwy 2. As we approached the intersection of Hwy 2 & 64th Ave, we observed a large, orange/yellow light streak across the sky. It was roughly tear shaped and left a slight trail behind it. As far as I could make out, the object flew very quickly at about 3-5,000 feet, passing rapidly over the airport and disappeared from view heading NW towards Airdrie. It was traveling at a high rate of speed and was in view for about 5-6 seconds, but enough for me to bring my wife’s attention to it as it streaked away into the distance. I was very surprised not to see anything on the local TV or radio news, as I am sure many others must have seen the object. Have you had any other reports?
